Hello, I‘m Brandi, I make quality leather jewelry and accessories - including earrings, cuffs, wood bead necklaces with leather tassels, as well as key chains. When time allows, I handcraft handbags, clutches, minimalist wallets and makeup/travel bags. All of my goods are hand cut and/or hand sewn and made with love, care and attention to detail. I only use genuine or top grain leather and the smell is intoxicating! It’s my favorite part!

I have been a maker my entire life, and I have DIY’d and crafted for over 20 years. My creative interests are vast, I enjoy painting, woodworking, repurposing furniture, jewelry, DIY home decor and more. But I've always loved leather. The feel of it, the smell of it, the luxury and longevity of it. Give me a gorgeous leather tote bag or crossbody and I’m a happy girl! I love wearing jewelry, specifically lightweight and comfortable jewelry, so leather jewelry was a must!

I love geometric shapes like the hexagon, I respect the vitally important job that bees provide for our ecosystem - and Hyde is a play on the spelling of the word (leather) 'hide'. Ding!
Honeycomb and Hyde was born! I knew I wanted to learn about the leather crafting world, so I bought leather and the necessary tools, and self taught myself by watching videos, tutorials and following master makers. I still have a LOT to learn, but that’s the fun part! Creating new and beautiful goods that people will own and enjoy for a long time.
